Technology & Features:

AirPurge^TM Device is mounted on an IV pole and purges air bubbles automatically from patient IV lines.  Air bubbles are purged quickly and automatically without user intervention.  Designed to be the last device between the patient and pole this device is broadly compatible with standard IV tubing sets, blood warmers, and high velocity infusion devices.  The Controller base uses simple, affordable, disposable cartridges that are effective with all standard fluids and infusion flow rates.  Battery and/or line operated.

Users & Applications: 

Prevention of venous air embolisms (VAEs) and their negative health impacts.  Anesthesiologists,   Trauma infusions,  Morphine, Taxol, and other bubble prone/alarm prone infusions, Interventional Radiologists, Infusions in patients at risk (up to 35% of Pop.) for patent foramen ovale (PFOs).
